There is a parking lot behind the Arcade Building. The parking lot entrance can be found on Centre Street. The rear entrance to the Arcade Building has a large mural above it. If needed, an elevator is located near the front of the Arcade Building. Street parking is also available.

If your appointment is on a Thursday afternoon during the months of June-November, please note that parking can be limited due to the Brookline Farmers' Market. More information can be found on their webpage here.

No. Massachusetts is a direct access state, which means you do not need a physician referral to start physical therapy. However, some insurance companies require a referral to approve reimbursement to you for PT services.

Mvmt·ology is considered an out-of-network provider. We do not partner with any insurance companies and as a result our Physical Therapy services are not restricted by insurance limitations.

We will provide a superbill (a detailed receipt of services) on request that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please confirm the details of your out-of-network benefits and reimbursement process with your insurance company. You are able to use your Health Care Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for Physical Therapy services with Mvmt·ology.

We kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancellations under 24 hours and no-shows will be charged the full price of the service. Extenuating circumstances and special situations will be reviewed on an individual basis.
